Dart & Dagger Collective respects the people and organizations who contact us. This policy explains what information we collect through dartdagger.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Dart & Dagger Collective LLC is a brand strategy and consulting firm based in Atlantic Beach, Florida. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Dart & Dagger Collective. You can reach us about privacy at carol@dartdagger.com.

Information you give us

We collect the information you choose to send us, including through:

• Contact form: your name, email address, and message.

• Mission-Ready Conversation form: your name, work email, organization, organization website, role, approximate number of employees, your organization’s current priorities and AI use, the type of support you’re considering, your preferred timeframe, and how you heard about us.

• Workshop inquiry form: your name, organization, email, role, approximate team size, workshop goals, preferred timeframe, and format preference.

• Scheduling a call: when you book a time with us through Google Calendar, Google collects the name, email address, and any details you provide to create the appointment.

• Free resource downloads: your name, work email, organization, and optionally your role and team size, when you request a free resource such as our AI Check-Up. Our EDGE newsletter is published on LinkedIn, and subscriptions there are handled by LinkedIn under its own privacy policy.

• Email and conversations: anything you share with us by email, phone, or video call.

Please don’t send sensitive information through our website. Our forms are not designed to receive donor records, client or beneficiary information, employee records, health information, financial account information, passwords, or confidential documents. If we need to discuss sensitive matters as part of an engagement, we’ll agree on an appropriate way to do that first.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, dartdagger.com automatically collects some technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and your approximate location based on your IP address. Our website host, Squarespace, collects this information using cookies and similar technologies. We use Squarespace’s built-in analytics to see how the site is used. We don’t use advertising pixels or third-party tracking tools.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your questions and requests.

• Understand your organization’s needs before a conversation, so our time together is useful.

• Schedule and confirm meetings and send related follow-up.

• Prepare proposals and provide services you request.

• Send you one follow-up email about a free resource you download, such as our AI Check-Up.

• Understand how our website is used and improve it.

• Protect our website and business from fraud, spam, and misuse, and meet legal obligations.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising profiles. We don’t enter personal information from our forms into AI tools, and we don’t use it to train artificial intelligence models.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers who help us operate, including Squarespace (website hosting and forms) and Google Workspace (email, calendar scheduling, and document storage). They process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments.

• Collective partners who work with us on a specific engagement, only when you’ve engaged us and only the information they need to do that work. Before an engagement begins, inquiries are reviewed only by our founder.

• Legal reasons, if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

• Business changes, such as a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

We don’t share your information with other parties for their own marketing.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Squarespace uses cookies that are necessary for the site to work and, depending on your settings, cookies that help us understand site traffic. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as expected.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and form information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and generally no longer than two years after our last contact unless you become a client. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement plus two years.

How we protect information

We use reputable service providers, limit access to the people who need it, and protect our website and email accounts with strong passwords and two-step verification. No website or online service is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

• Emails: we don’t add you to a mailing list without your OK. If you’d rather not receive a follow-up email, reply and let us know.

• Access, correction, and deletion: you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing carol@dartdagger.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some information to meet legal or business record-keeping obligations.

• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Contact us and we’ll help.

Client engagements

Information you share with us during a paid engagement, such as staff survey responses, workflow details, or internal documents, is handled under the terms of our written agreement with your organization, not only this policy. We design our process to avoid collecting sensitive information we don’t need, and staff input is used to understand how work happens, not to evaluate individual employees.

Children

Our website is intended for professionals and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Links to other sites

Our site links to other websites, including LinkedIn. We’re not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so please review their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or tools change. We’ll post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
